Description: A house built with much love on the island of Zakynthos. The house is on a piece of land of 5000 m2 which reaches down to the ocean. This is a very quiet place, far off the tourism. At a distance of about 400-600m there are two greek taverns which are managed by a Greek family and where you can find the Greek nature! The house has got a Greek style. The private beach is quiet and has small stones, sand and large stones. At a distance of 500m there is the most beautiful beach Marathia Beach with the tavern Dinisios. It is easy to walk there. If you are looking for disco and nightlife, you can find this in Laganas, about 13km from Marathia. The next shopping place is in Kery (2km from Marathia). The romantic harbour of Kery invites you for swimming, waterskiing, Jet Sky or just for being lazy. In House Marathia you can rent a motorboat a motorbike, Jet Sky, car. There is a GSM-telephon and sat-TV!
Well, how do you get to Marathia? If you come by plane, please rent a car: I have a car to rent in my house. The house is about 17km from the airport. Taxis are easy to find. Another access, which I prefer, is through Italy. From Venice, Ancona about 36 hours. Then you drive with your car to Kilinni. One hour running time. There you take the ferry boat to Zakynthos (an hour and a half). To Marathia it is 17 km. You drive through an exceedingly beautiful area, 100 m above the ocean. At the House Marathia you can choose between 2 studios of 30 m2 (kitchen with fridge, bathroom, safe, ventilator and 50m2 terrace). There is also a radio and the possibility to to put a third bed in the room. In addition, there is an apartment with two sleeping rooms, 40 m2 living room with kitchen, bathroom, ventilator, radio, Sat-TV and a terrace of 40m2.
